• band or organisation name

• contact details

• venue and promoter information

• gig and event information

• invoices, expenses and financial records

• documents and files you upload

• social media content and campaign information

• travel and touring information

• band and crew information

2. Google account information
MYGIGHQ may allow you to connect your Google account so selected Google services can work with MYGIGHQ.

 

Depending on which Google services you choose to enable, MYGIGHQ may request access to:
Google account information

Your name, email address, Google account identifier and profile information may be used to identify the Google account connected to MYGIGHQ.

Gmail
If you enable Gmail, MYGIGHQ may request permission to send emails on your behalf. This may be used for user-directed features such as venue outreach, follow-up messages, invoices and other emails that you choose to send from MYGIGHQ.
MYGIGHQ does not require access to read your Gmail inbox for this functionality unless a separate feature is introduced and you explicitly authorise that additional access.

Google Calendar
If you enable Google Calendar, MYGIGHQ may access calendar information required to display, create, update or synchronise events between Google Calendar and MYGIGHQ, depending on the permissions you grant.
This may include calendar names, calendar identifiers, event details, dates and times.

Google Contacts
If you enable Google Contacts, MYGIGHQ may access contact information required to import or synchronise contacts into MYGIGHQ.
This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, organisations and other contact details available through the authorised Google service.

MYGIGHQ requests only the Google permissions necessary for the features you choose to enable.

3. How we use your data
We may use information collected through MYGIGHQ to:

• provide and operate the service

• manage your account and workspace

• provide gig, booking and calendar functionality

• enable communications

• generate invoices and finance records

• provide social media and promotion tools

• provide touring, travel and document-management functionality

• improve reliability and usability

• provide customer support

• protect MYGIGHQ against misuse, fraud and security threats

• comply with legal obligations

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve the MYGIGHQ features that you choose to use.
Examples include:

• sending an email that you create or approve

• synchronising gigs and events with your selected Google Calendar

• importing or synchronising authorised Google contacts

• displaying the connected Google account inside MYGIGHQ

• maintaining the connection between MYGIGHQ and services you have authorised

MYGIGHQ does not sell Google user data.

MYGIGHQ does not use Google user data for advertising.

MYGIGHQ does not transfer Google user data to data brokers or advertising platforms.

MYGIGHQ does not use Google Workspace API data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate MYGIGHQ, such as hosting, payment processing, communications, analytics and infrastructure providers.

These providers may process information only where necessary to provide services to MYGIGHQ and are expected to protect that information appropriately.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the security or legal rights of MYGIGHQ or its users, or as part of a legitimate merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
5. Data storage and security

MYGIGHQ uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.

Where Google OAuth access tokens or refresh tokens are required to maintain a Google connection, they are intended to be stored securely on MYGIGHQ server-side infrastructure and not exposed publicly or unnecessarily stored in browser storage.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to minimise risks and protect user information appropriately.

6. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required to provide MYGIGHQ, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

You may disconnect connected third-party services, including Google, through MYGIGHQ where that functionality is available.
Disconnecting a third-party service stops future access through that connection but may not automatically delete information that you previously imported or created inside MYGIGHQ.

You may contact us to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:

• request access

• request correction

• request deletion

• restrict processing

• object to certain processing

• request a portable copy of your information

MYGIGHQ is not intended for children under the age required to enter into an online service contract in their jurisdiction without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy as MYGIGHQ develops.
The latest version will be published on the MYGIGHQ website with an updated effective date.
